The200-Hour Method

The author

Jérémy, creator of The 200-Hour Method

I didn't create this method from an ivory tower. I built it because I needed it.

For years, I was the "too busy" guy. I turned down invitations one after another, because I'd rather spend that time working, alone, pushing my own projects forward.

You don't notice it at first. Then one day you look up: friends have stopped inviting you, the bonds have faded without a fight, just through silence. And when loneliness finally hits and you want to rekindle those friendships you put on hold, you find out it has become hard. That's when I understood something: rebuilding a social circle isn't improvised, it's worked at.

What I did, concretely

Instead of beating myself up, I did what I know how to do: I researched. For several months, I gathered the serious scientific studies on friendship and social connection, the work of Jeffrey Hall, Robin Dunbar, Leon Festinger or Robert Zajonc, among others. And I actually used them: I rebuilt friendships that had faded, and I made new ones.

The 200-Hour Method was born from that. It's what I wish someone had handed me back then: that research turned into concrete actions, where every module follows the same thread, deliberately devoting time to building and strengthening your bonds.

Whether loneliness was chosen or not, it isn't inevitable.

My conviction

I don't believe friendship is a gift reserved for a lucky few. It's a skill, made of hours and repeated gestures, and anything that's a skill can be learned. That's the whole point of what I share here: a clear, honest method, with a 30-day guarantee.
